Canadian Institutions pledge 185,250 Euros to DOAB, PKP, and OpenCitations via CRKN

Building on their pledges last year, 24 institutional members of the Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN) have pledged funding across the three services currently being promoted by SCOSS. CRKN empowers researchers, educators, and society with greater access to the world’s research and Canada’s preserved documentary heritage, now and for future generations.

Over the next three years, Canadian academic library support will total 66,250 Euros to PKP, 65,250 Euros to DOAB and OAPEN, and 53,250 Euros to OpenCitations, for a combined total of 185,250 Euros. CRKN continues to collaborate with the Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL) to bring this opportunity to their shared membership, in support of the ongoing sustainability of global vital open access services
