CRKN, the Canadian Research Knowledge Network, is the latest to join several other national consortia by becoming a member of the SCOSS Advisory Group. Others include Jisc (UK), the Bibsam Consortium (Sweden), CERES (Norway) and The Consortium of Swiss Academic Libraries (Switzerland). We look forward to more joining us.
We are delighted to announce that the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) has reached its funding target to cover its operational costs as outlined in its SCOSS application. The German Research Foundation has pledged 24,000 Euros to SCOSS, becoming the first research funding body globally to commit.
