SCOSS support helps Open Infrastructures to secure funds for initiatives that traditional funding sources do not cover.
Each year, we ask the current SCOSS Family infrastructures to provide brief summary reports of how funds received through SCOSS support were used. These reports offer valuable insight into infrastructures’ activities, achievements, and challenges.
Through the generous support of institutions, SCOSS Family infrastructures have accomplished a great deal. This support has enabled a variety of core activities, including: hiring much needed staff, software upgrades, hardware purchases, cloud storage for development environments, technical refactoring of existing systems to improve interoperability, and training and documentation activities.
