Swiss consortium pledges 216 000 Euros to SHERPA/RoMEO and DOAJ

The Consortium of Swiss Academic Libraries, comprising sixteen libraries and the Swiss National Science Foundation, is the third national consortium to commit to the SCOSS initiative. swissuniversities, the Rectors’ Conference of Swiss Higher Education Institutions, contributes approximately 50% of the total costs in the framework of the Swiss National Strategy for Open Access.

SCOSS publishes Pilot Progress report

The report is the result of an assessment that involved the SCOSS Board as well as representatives from DOAJ and SHERPA/RoMEO, offers a thorough examination of what worked – and what could have worked better, and includes details of how lessons learned will be incorporated moving forward. Over 1 million euros raised

In just over one year, together with the library and research communities worldwide, we have helped raise over 1 million euros from across the globe to help fund DOAJ and Sherpa RoMEO. SCOSS prepares for second funding cycle

The coalition is now preparing for its second funding cycle by placing a call for a show of interest from OS infrastructure service providers — potential SCOSS funding recipients.
Potential applicants are requested to fill out a six-question screening form to determine eligibility before ultimately submitting a full application by 31 October 2018.
