Swiss institutions renew support for Open infrastructures!


Continuing a tradition of generosity towards Open Science infrastructures, member institutions of the Consortium of Swiss Academic Libraries have pledged a total of 362,250 euros over the course of the next three years from 2024-2026. 

This pledge includes 78,750 euros for the services in SCOSS’ recently-launched 5th funding cycle, with 42,000 euros going to Research Data Alliance (RDA) and 36,750 euros to Software Heritage, for a combined total of 78,750 euros. The Consortium will also continue support for DOAB and OAPEN, PKP, and OpenCitations with a combined total of 283,500 euros. 

Thank you to the universities of Basel, Bern, Fribourg, Geneva, Lausanne, Lucerne, Neuchâtel, St Gallen, Zürich, the Bern University of Applied Sciences, the Zurich University of Applied Sciences, the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences, University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland, the Zurich University of the Arts, ETH Zürich, EPF Lausanne, Università della Svizzera italiana, Lib4RI, and the European Organization for Nuclear Research CERN!
