Continued Support for Open Infrastructure from Canada!

Thanks to the generous support of the Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN) and the Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL) and the Consortium of Swiss Academic Libraries (see recent news) we have exceeded the 6 million euro mark of funds raised for SCOSS family infrastructures!

Under a consortial approach administered by CRKN, Canadian research libraries pledged 152,000 Euro for the recently-launched SCOSS 5th funding cycle infrastructures Research Data Alliance (RDA) and Software Heritage.

Having raised well over 5.8 million EUR to sustain vital, non-commercial infrastructure and services within the Open Science community; the Global Sustainability Coalition for Open Science Services (SCOSS) is once again searching for new potential candidate organisations to fund during the 2025 to 2027 SCOSS funding cycle.
