Over the last several years SCOSS has successfully supported two pledging rounds for Open Science Infrastructures helping them become more sustainable. We are about to announce organizations included in the third cycle and we find ourselves in the position of both looking back at what we have achieved and thinking forward, about SCOSS’s future.
What’s next for us? Before formulating a strategy for the upcoming years, we want to seek the views of our stakeholders, as well as the wider research community. How can we evolve in order to best support Open Science Infrastructure, what role should SCOSS play in the scholarly communications ecosystem? Which services should we provide that would be of use for the community?
The SCOSS strategy survey, launched today, gives the community a chance to help shape SCOSS’s future and we encourage you to take part in it! our goals and priorities over the next few years and influence which organisations we support. Your responses will affect our choices and optimize our efforts in helping OA and OS infrastructure blossom well into the future. We are looking forward to hearing your thoughts by the end of Monday, 5 July 2021.
